MRPO Replacement Boiler

The US Army Corps of Engineers - Rock Island District plans to issue a request for quotations (RFQ) for the replacement of the existing two boilers at the Mississippi River Project Office in Pleasant Valley, IA.. When an RFQ is issued, it will be issued as a related notice to this one.

NOTE:  This is a local area set aside. Must have qualified technicians within a 200 mile radius of Delivery Address capable of full diagnoses and repair of supplied boilers.

Basic Purchase items: 
Supply two new ultra high efficiency boilers meeting the following requirements

• Minimum of 800,000 total BTUs
• Fueled by natural gas
• Thermal efficiency of 95% or higher
• Stainless steel heat exchanger
• Full Modulation
• 5:1 turndown
• Factory assembled and fire tested
• Supply and return temperature sensors
• Line voltage junction box
• Touch screen display
• Variable speed blower

Optional Purchase if Needed: Provide up to 100 feet of liner piping with sufficient fittings appropriately rated for boiler venting.

Description of Purchase:

Provide new ultra high efficiency, condensing boilers for The U.S Army Corps of Engineers Mississippi River Project Office in Pleasant Valley, Iowa. Boilers should have a minimum of 800,000 total BTUs, fueled by natural gas, thermal efficiency of 95% or higher, Stainless steel heat exchanger, full modulation, and 5:1 turndown. Must Provide up to 100 feet of liner piping with sufficient fittings appropriately rated for boiler venting. 

Scope of Work:
a.  Supply Boilers and piping meeting Description of Purchase terms.
b.  Must have qualified technicians within a 200 mile radius of Delivery Address capable of full diagnoses and repair of supplied boilers. 
c.  Must be able to supply Boilers to Delivery Address no later than 15 weeks after award date.
d.  One single invoice for entire amount shall be promptly submitted via email to the technical POC upon award. 
e.  Must be able to supply warranty service for supplied boilers.
