Description

STATEMENT OF WORK

SMYU 15-1070 REPAIR FIRE PROTECTION SYSTEM IN WAREHOUSE, B2464 OSAN AB, ROK

1.  DESCRIPTION:  The work to be performed for completion of this project shall be as described in general below.

   1.1. The contractor shall provide all design drafting, management, supervision, plant, labor, materials, equipment, and any other resources necessary to accomplish the scope of work contained.

2. PRINCIPLE FEATURES: This Project is K-work (Repair and Maintenance) and includes following principle features and specified works on the APPENDIX “A” and “B”.

   B2464 is the warehouse storage for vehicles. Thirty (30) vehicles are stored in general. Fuel of the vehicles are diesel, and approximately 55 gallons (1 drum) is filled at each fuel tank.

   2.1. CIVIL WORK:

None.

   2.2. ARCHITECTURAL WORK:

2.2.1.  Provide double steel pipe scaffolding around the proposed building for temporary works including fabricating and dismantling.

2.2.2.  Apply epoxy concrete sealer to the existing concrete floor including surface preparation.

2.2.3.  Provide wall openings for new wall ventilators including supplementary framing and base plates (Refer to the mechanical SOW).

2.2.4.  Provide new 6” (150MM) mineral fiber blanket insulation incl. vapor barrier and wire mesh inside of exterior wall as shown on the drawing No. A-401.

2.2.5.  Remove existing protected metal roof panel/batt insulation/ventilators and install new standing seam metal roofing (SSMR) system including meal flashing, metal roof deck, eave sub-purlins, 5” rigid insulation board (R-30)/vapor barrier, and all accessories for the new SSMR system over the existing main purlins. 

2.2.6.  Provide structural reinforcement such as adding strut/purlin bracing for roof frame as shown on the drawing Nos. S-102 and S-502 for reinforcement of roof frame due to change roof type from PTML to SSMR. Reference OMA Specification Section Nos. 05 05 23, 05 12 00, and 05 21 23.

2.2.7.  Replace existing gutters and downspouts with new ones incl. concrete splash blocks as shown on the drawing Nos. A-103 and 401.
