Description
1. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance
with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented
with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the
only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not
be issued. This enclosure is an addendum to FAR provision 52.212-1, Instructions to
Offerors – Commercial Items, which applies to this acquisition.
2. Competitive quotes are being requested under Request for Quote (RFQ) Number
N66001-21-Q-6314. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code
applicable to this acquisition is Code 335931, NAICS Title: Current-Carrying Wiring
Device Manufacturing and the small business size standard is 500 Employees. This
procurement is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside for Brand-Name Carlisle Interconnect
Technologies components. Only quotes submitted by Small Business Concerns will be
accepted by the Government. Any quote that is submitted by a non-Small Business
Concern will not be considered for award.
3. This RFQ is solicitated as a Brand Name Requirement. The required brand name is
Carlisle Interconnect Technologies.
4. Full details of requirement are included in the attachment titled N66001-22-Q-6314
Solicitation RFQ final.
5. Please complete attachment titled FAR & DFARS Provisions for Certification and
provide with quote.
By submission of its quote, the vendor accepts all solicitation requirements, including
terms and conditions, representations and certifications, and technical requirements.
Failure to meet a requirement may result in a quote being excluded from competition and
not evaluated any further. Vendors must clearly identify any exception to the solicitation
and conditions and provide complete accompanying rationale.
