Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) seeks to lease the following space: State: Illinois City: Forest Park Delineated Area: North: I-90 from the northwest corner of I-90 and I-290 heads east to cross with South Halsted Street forming the Northeast corner. East: South Halstead Street from I-290 to I-55 South: I-55 to I-355 West: I-355 heading north to connect to I-290. I-290 crosses I-90 making the northwest corner of the delineated area. Maximum Usable Sq. Ft. 5,000 Minimum Usable Sq. Ft. 4,970 Space Type: Outpatient Clinics & Medical Office Parking Spaces (Total): 24 Full Term: 20 Years Firm Term: 5 Years Occupancy Required By: 11/01/2025 The U.S. Government currently occupies office and related space in a building under a lease in Forest Park, IL. The Government will consider alternative space if economically advantageous. In making this determination, the Government will consider, among other things, the availability of alternative space that potentially can satisfy the Government s requirements, as well as costs likely to be incurred through relocating, such as physical move costs, replication of tenant improvements and telecommunication infrastructure, and non-productive agency downtime. Space must be handicapped accessible, (ADA compliant), with 24 on-site parking spaces. The space preferred will be first floor contiguous, but will consider non-contiguous and/or other floor levels with working elevators if ADA compliant.
