Description
The purpose of this Sources Sought Notice is to gain knowledge of interest, capabilities, and qualifications of various members of industry, to include the small business community, non-profits, and universities. The Government must ensure there is adequate competition among the potential pool of responsible contractors and appropriate structure of the contract. Additionally, feedback is sought on to the questions below. price structure (firm fixed-price or time-and-materials).
United States Geological Survey (USGS), National Minerals Information Center is seeking a contractor to create a secondary education curriculum package focusing on critical minerals. The goal of the curriculum is to raise awareness in middle and high school students (and their teachers and parents) about the importance of critical minerals in their lives, and to provide them with an understanding of the science, technology, career opportunities, and global impact of the human need for critical minerals. See Attachment 1 for Performance Work Statement.
Please provide response to the questions below:
1. Given the scope of work and the requirements, what would you suggest adding to the Performance Work Statement to allow you to propose a detailed approach and work plan?
2. Is enough information provided in the Performance Work Statement to allow a firm, fixed-price quotation? If not, what should be added?
3. What are your company’s capabilities and qualifications that make you suitable for the project? Please describe your business status (small business, not-for-profit, university)
4. Do you have suggestions regarding the Project Timeline?
Your organization must have a UEI number and be registered on-line at the System for Award Management (SAM). Your on-line registration will cover any/all of your offers to the Federal Government and is updated annually.
Responses to this source sought notice will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. All interested sources must respond to future solicitation announcements separately from responses to this market survey. Any solicitation that may be issued will be posted on the SAM.Gov. It is the responsibility of potential responders to monitor the site for additional information pertaining to this announcement.
