Description

The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Federal Medical Center, Devens, Massachusetts, is issuing solicitation 15B20522Q00000026 for the provision of Digital Imaging Network – Picture Archiving and Communication System in accordance with the Statement of Work.  The services will be provided to Federal Medical Center (FMC) Devens.  The physical address of FMC Devens is 42 Patton Road, Ayer, MA 01432.  The contract type is an indefinite/delivery requirements contract with firm-fixed unit price.  See statement of work for a more detailed description of the requirement.

The solicitation will be available and distributed solely through the SAM website at www.SAM.gov.  All future information concerning this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will be distributed solely through this website.  Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure you have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition.  Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available.  The website provides all downloading instructions to obtain a copy of the solicitation.

All potential quoters are advised that this solicitation includes the provision 52.204-7 System for Award Management.  This provision reads: FAR 52.204-7(b)(1) “An Offeror is required to be registered in SAM when submitting an offer or quotation, and shall continue to be registered until time of award, during performance, and through final payment of any contract, basic agreement, basic ordering agreement, or blanket purchasing agreement resulting from this solicitation.”.

Contractors should include their Unique Entity ID (UEI) in their offers.  The Contracting Officer will verify registration in the System for Award Management (SAM) database prior to award by entering the potential awardees DUNS number into the SAM database.  The North American Industrial Classification (NAICS) code is 541519 with a small business size standard of 500 employees.  This solicitation is a total small-business set aside.
