J065--IBA Dosimetry Full Service Maintenance Agreement

INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE FAR 8.405-6 Network Contracting Office (NCO) 2, Department of Veterans Affairs intends to award a firm-fixed price sole source contract to IBA Dosimetry America, Inc. under the authority of FAR 8.405-6(a)(1)(i)(B), "Only one source is capable of providing the supplies or services required at the level of quality required because the supplies or services are unique or highly specialized." The proposed procurement is for full-service contract covers for maintenance, repairs, parts, software upgrade and technical support on government owned IBA Dosimetry Blue Phantom 2 Beam Analysis System and myQA Software Package at the New Jersey Healthcare System, East Orange Campus. This equipment is currently in use at these facilities. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 541519 Other Computer Related Services. This equipment is currently in use at these facilities. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 811219 Other Electronic and Prevision Equipment Repair and Maintenance. No solicitation package will be issued. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes; however, interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement. The Government will consider responses received by 10:00 AM Eastern Standard Time on September 13, 2022. Inquiries will only be accepted via email to megan.ross3@va.gov. A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement in the future.
