Canister Grenades - Metal Components - Pre-Solicitation Synopsis

Army Contracting Command - Rock Island (ACC-RI) intends to issue Request for Proposal (RFP) W519TC-23-R-0108 for the supply of Canister Grenades Metal Components for the following HAND GRENADES: M18 (G940), M83 (G982), AN-M14 (G900), M7A3 (G963) and M330 (GG46) as well as the M330 Starter Cup. The Body NSN is 1330-01-546-9476 and the Top NSN is 1330-01-546-9481.

Below is a description of each item:

Item:

1. M18 Colored Hand Smoke Grenade Metal Parts Kit containing body and top. 
2. M83 Hand Smoke Grenade Metal Parts Kit containing body and top.
3. AN-M14 Incendiary Hand Grenade Metal Parts Kit containing body and top.
4. M7A3 Hand Smoke Grenade Metal Parts Kit containing body and top.
5. M330 Obscuration Hand Grenade Metal Parts Kit containing body, top, and Starter Cup.

This requirement is projected to be a firm-fixed priced five (5) year Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract. Requirements call for sustained production for five years (5 year IDIQ) for the Canister Grenades Metal Components, from
approximately January 2025 through December 2029.

The RFQ will be solicited under NAICS 332999 – All Other Miscellaneous Fabricated Metal Product Manufacturing as a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. Place of Performance: US Army, Pine Bluff Arsenal Pine Bluff, AR 71602. The response date is for archive purposes only and is NOT the date in which offers are due. The date offers are due will be issued with the RFQ. Estimated RFQ issue date is June 2024. This is an estimated date only and may be subject to change. All Contractors who provide goods/services to the Department of Defense (DoD) shall be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database prior to contract award resulting from this solicitation. The RFQ and any amendments will be available electronically in accordance with FAR 4.502 and 5.102(a)(l); at the following internet address: https://www.sam.gov in May 2024.
