Description
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention intends to award a sole source for a firm fixed price purchase order to SPCB – DEVEX to provide United Nations General Aseembly (UNGA) support.
Building on their recent successful experience at last year’s United Nations General Assembly, Devex has again obtained required access to the United Nations General Assembly meeting and the tightly controlled and closed-off compound surrounding the venue. Devex assets for the United Nations General Assembly meeting includes full control and access to their own dedicated space (“Devex UHC tent”), an extensive media
platform focused on coverage for the UN High Level meetings, a targeted network
and audience, and other resources critical for CDC priorities during the UN General
Assembly.
There is no comparable vendor that is equipped to provide the access, resources, and platforms that Devex will make possible through this sole-source justification. Senior communications and policy experts reviewed the online and print media coverage from other media outlets for past United Nations General Assembly meetings, and the upcoming United Nations High-Level meetings focused on CDC public health priorities, and found that none have the level of focus, access, and sustained coverage as Devex.
