1. This is a request for information. The U.S. Army Contracting Command – Rock Island, is seeking System for Award Management (SAM) Database registered businesses that can provide remarks/comments on a draft MJU 75B Cushion Center Supports drawing to determine if it is manufacturable. This announcement is for information and planning purpose only and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government, implied or otherwise, to issue a solicitation or award a contract. NO AWARD will be made from this Request for Information Notice. This is NOT a request for proposal. Particularly, the purpose of this NOTICE is to gain feedback from (SAM) Database registered businesses to ensure the integrity of future manufactured MJU 75B Cushion Center Supports for future solicitations.

3. DESCRIPTION OF WORK: Vendor to provide comments based off of a newly updated draft of an industry drawing for MJU-75/B Cushion Center Supports.

The drawing associated with this Sources Sought Announcement is Distribution Level D, authorized to the Department of Defense (DoD) and U.S. DoD contractors ONLY.  All firms must be registered in the Joint Certification Program (JCP) in order to access the drawings associated with this announcement.

Access to the drawings is restricted to the data custodian listed on the DD Form 2345.

*NOTE: When requesting access to the drawings, the company CAGE CODE should be entered within the “Reason for Request” block.

5. SUBMISSION DETAILS: All interested, responsive and responsible SAM Database registered businesses are encouraged to participate in this Market Research by emailing the requirement information below to the point of contact listed on this announcement. Interested businesses must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) Database at www.sam.gov. Email submissions are required. Interested businesses shall include the following information to be considered for market research purposes:

        a.) Company Name, Address, SAM Unique Entity ID/CAGE Code, current business size (e.g. Small or Large business)

         b.) Contractor feedback on tolerances, design, and whether the MJU 75B Cushion Center Supports are manufacturable in accordance with the draft drawing, and if not, a description outlining why not.

        c.) Point of contact information including name, phone number and email address.
