Veterans Point Trail Rehabilitation

This announcement constitutes a Pre-Solicitation Notice/Synopsis in accordance with FAR Subpart 5.2. The Government intends to issue a formal solicitation via a Request for Proposal (RFP) in accordance with FAR 15, following this announcement, on or about 15 calendar days from the publication of this announcement. The solicitation and if applicable, any amendments, shall be posted on SAM.gov. Responses will be due on or about 30 calendar days after the solicitation is posted, unless extended through an amendment. There may be a question and answer period/pre-proposal conference before proposals are due. Interested offerors must be active in SAM.gov at the date and time proposals are due to be eligible for award. Proposals submitted by contractors without an active record in SAM.gov will not be considered.

The U.S. Forest Service is soliciting offers for a single award, Firm-Fixed Price contract type with an estimated magnitude for the base and options between $250,000 and $500,000. The Government anticipates awarding a single contract for the Veterans Point Trail Rehabilitation project located Black Hills National Forest, South Dakota.

Scope of Work: This project includes trail rehabilitation. The work consist of removing existing trail, repairing damaged trail sections, furnish and install closure barrier.

This is a total small businesses set-aside.

Location: Veterans Point Trail is located along Highway 385 on the north end of the Pactola Lake Dam approximately 15 miles west of Rapid City, South Dakota in the Black Hills National Forest.
