SOURCES SOUGHT:   THIS NOTICE IS MARKET RESEARCH TO SUPPORT INCLUSION OF SOLE SOURCE (BRAND NAME) SPECIFICATIONS IN AN FY23 RENOVATION PROJECT – JBR037.

Project Name:  Attu Hall Renovation B977 Joint Base Elmendorf – Richardson, AK 99506.

This IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL.  

The U.S. Army Engineer District, Alaska intends to specify the below listed items as part of a larger construction contract to be executed on JBER, Alaska.  A ss by the Government to not compete this requirement, for the specific items listed below, based on the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Reference FAR 6.302-1(c), “Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements - Application for brand name descriptions.”

Item /Items: 

• Cummins generator with arctic enclosure - shall be 208vac, 3 phase, gasoline, with 600vac rated 3 poles disconnect switch

• Cummins transfer switch - shall be 208vac,3 phase, 4 pole transfer capability, with maintenance by-pass capability, full start-stop of generator, and digital display for reporting operation condition locally and via network to remote location

• Brand locks utilized: Best Lock Security Systems - for the installation’s master keying system.  All lock cores and keyless entry systems must be compatible.

• Monaco Fire alarm Panel model BT-XF - Monaco Model "BT-XF" fire alarm panel, which must seamlessly report to the central Monaco fire alarm receiving station.
• Mass Notification: Federal Signal Equipment - For monitoring and controlling the HVAC systems in all facilities on Base.  The DDC systems in each facility must have the capability to communicate with the Base wide Delta control systems

• Meridian Direct Digital Control (DDC) - System is used for Energy Management & Control System (EMCS).  The new system must match existing for managing and reporting energy use in buildings

THIS NOTICE IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE AND NOT A Requests FOR PROPOSAL.

No solicitation will be available as these sole source items will be incorporated into the specifications of an FY23 solicitation for Alaska District Corps of Engineers Project JBR037 Attu Hall Renovation B977 Joint Base Elmendorf – Richardson, AK 99506.

Vendors who offer the above items which can meet all of the above functional criteria are invited to respond to this notice. Responses must include the following information:

1. Identification of the manufacturer’s name, address, and country of product manufacture.
2. Fully detailed specification sheets.
3. Narrative addressing how your product meets the salient features listed above.
