Description
DLA Troop Support is seeking industry feedback from interested parties concerning the manufacturing of a life raft carrying case which is made of urethane over nylon material. This particular life raft carrying case holds a 20-person life raft on the V-22 Osprey Aircraft.

WILL BE PACKAGED IN ACCORDANCE WITH ASTM D3951.
All DLA Master List of Technical and Quality Requirements take precedence over ASTM D3951.
Mark and label all packaging and packing in accordance with MIL-STD-129.
The Unit of Issue (U/I) and Quantity per Unit Pack (QUP) will be as specified in the contract/purchase order.
PALLETIZATION SHALL BE IN ACCORDANCE WITH RP001: DLA PACKAGING REQUIREMENTS FOR PROCUREMENT
Suppliers capable of furnishing these items must so indicate by email at matthew.eckenrode@dla.mil.
The contractor will be required to manufacture these items and satisfy the Government’s delivery requirements. Responses to this survey must include documentation citing the following:
-Contractor’s experience demonstrating the capability to meet the Government’s requirements in producing products that meet all performance requirements, and that are physically and functionally interchangeable with presently identified item.
-Quality Standard (Government or Industry) that shall be in place for this effort.
-Past Performance for the same or similar items. The contractor shall submit their part numbers, NSN, or nomenclature and the date of the last manufacturing effort of the same or similar items for which they have production experience. Government contract numbers, if applicable, shall be provided.
-The contractor must provide information to show it possesses, or shall possess, adequate production plant facilities (equipment, tooling, and space) to enable it, or its subcontractors, to meet production delivery requirements for these items.
