Blue Ridge Parkway NP -2024 BLRI HAZARDOUS TREE CUTTING

Purpose of Amendment 0001 is to provide a clear understanding on what documents are required to submit for this solicitation. See the SF-1442 for clarification.

The National Park Service: Blue Ridge Parkway National Park is issuing a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.

Required Services: The contractor shall provide all labor, tools, equipment, materials and supervision required to complete this project.

This requirement consists of; The services to be provided within this Performance Work Statement (PWS) consist of cutting hazardous tree along the BLRI at four designated locations in North Carolina, and Virginia, (two locations in each state), as far as the funding lasts. The removal of the hazardous dead and diseased trees is important to eliminate a danger of falling tree to visitors, NPS employees, and contractors that are working along the Parkway.

The services to be provided within this Statement of Work (SOW) consist of Hazard tree removal.

Applicable Conditions ¿ Contractor is required to furnish all personnel and material to meet the requirements specified in the contract work statement.

The Government intends to award a firm-fixed price commercial services contract based on the proposal that represents the best value (LPTA) to the Government in accordance with FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, FAR Par 15, Negotiations and FAR Part 19, Small Business Programs.

100% Total Small Business Set-Aside. The NAICS code is 561730 Landscaping Services, Size Standards in Millions of dollars $9.5.

The government reserves the right to award none, any or all of the bid options in any order.
This requirement consists of Base items and nine (9) Option Items. Options will be award based on availability of funds.

SYSTEM FOR AWARD MANAGEMENT (SAM): Federal Acquisition Regulations require that federal contractors register in the System for Award Management (SAM) database at https://www.sam.gov and enter all mandatory information into the system. Award cannot be made until the contractor has registered. Interested offerors are encouraged to ensure that they are registered in SAM prior to submitting their quote. THESE REGISTRATIONS WILL BE COMPLETED BEFORE TIME OF AWARD.
