Description

U.S. FOREST SERVICE (USFS) MISCELLANEOUS MAINTENANCE Repair SERVICE

The Government anticipates issuing a Request for Quote (RFQ) with the intent of awarding a Firm-Fixed Price purchase order for USFS Miscellaneous Maintenance Repair Service at Arcata, California.

Project Description:  This service addresses deficiencies identified from an elevator inspection report for one (1) elevator located in the United States Forest Service (USFS) Redwood Sciences Laboratory United States Forest Service (USFS) Redwood Sciences Laboratory building and may include fire and life safety devices such as smoke detectors and door re-closing devices. During a periodic inspection and test in February 2022, deficiencies were identified that USFS would like to have repaired/corrected.

This prospective contract action will be conducted using NAICS Code is 238210 - Electrical Contractors and Other Wiring Installation Contractors. The size standard is $19,000,000.00.  Product Service Code is J059 - Maint/Repair/Rebuild of Equipment- Electrical and Electronic Equipment Components.

The solicitation will proceed as a small business set-aside and is estimated to be issued on or about October 30, 2023 with quotes due tentatively on November 27, 2023  The RFQ will be issued on the Government Point of Entry known as www.SAM.gov and will establish a firm proposal due date/time.

If applicable, the site visit date, time and location will be identified in the solicitation.
