53WG SQUADRON OPERATIONS & OPERATIONAL TEST FACILITY NELLIS AFB, NEVADA
Design and construct a 46,801 SF single story facility. The design and construction include reinforced concrete foundations, concrete floor slab, structural steel frame with split faced concrete masonry units, gypsum wallboard, and a combination single ply membrane/standing seam metal low slope roof. It also includes the design and construction of a 800 SF single story Information Transfer Building (ITB). These facilities will house operations areas, support areas, sensitive compartmentalized information facilities (SCIF), special access program (SAF) facilities, and communications support functions. This project includes all: utilities; communications support; site improvements; pavements; electrical systems; heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems (HVAC); fire detection and protection features; security enhancements; backup power generation; and other supporting work necessary to make a complete and useable facility. Facilities will be designed as permanent construction in accordance with the DoD Unified Facilities Criteria (UFC) 1-200-01, General Building requirements. This project will comply with DoD Antiterrorism/Force Protection requirements per UFC 4-010-01. The total contract performance period is seven hundred and twenty (720) calendar days after receipt of Notice to Proceed.
