Contract Opportunity: Special Notice

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Louisville District (USACE) will be soliciting proposals for the Area Maintenance Support Activity (AMSA) in Southfield MI.  As part of the construction contract solicitation, USACE intends to include the following sole source requirements:

1. DTE Energy – Local electrical utility provider is required to complete construction of electrical infrastructure.
2. Consumers Energy – Local gas utility provider is required to complete construction of gas infrastructure.
3. Southfield Water Company – Local water utility provider is required to complete construction of water and sanitary infrastructure.

The following manufacturers were used for the Government’s Basis of Design on interior and exterior finishes (including flooring, base, wall, ceiling and exterior finishes), but equal products can be used: Tarkett, Daltile, Stonehard, C/S Group Acrovyn, Sherwin-Williams, Inpro/IPC Wall protection, USG Ceiling Solutions, Aristech, Penco, Schluter Systems, Manuson Group, 2/90 Sign Systems, Mechoshade, Avonite, Wilsonart, Scranton Products, Grand Blanc Cement Products, Inc, Atas International, Kalwall and Lehigh.

All responsible sources may submit a capability statement which shall be considered by the agency.  The submission must be received no later than 10:00 AM EST on 3 February 2022 to  adam.m.wantland@usace.army.mil .
