Description

STATEMENT OF NEED Lakeland 005 - Refraction Desks GENERAL: The Community Based Outpatient Clinic (CBOC) of the Veterans Affairs (VA) in Lakeland, Florida, located at 2080 Meadowbrook Park Blvd, has a need Refraction Desks across the newly constructed Lakeland CBOC facility. BACKGROUND: The current Lakeland VA CBOCs will be combining into one new facility and will be expanding services to better serve the local veteran community. The existing Community-Based Outpatient Clinics (CBOCs) of Lakeland VA will be consolidated into a single new facility. This move aims to enhance the services provided, thereby improving the care for the local veteran community. PURPOSE: The Refraction Desks will be employed in the Eye Clinic by local providers at the Lakeland CBOC for both routine and emergency examinations. This is to ensure that our veterans are provided with the highest quality of care. SCOPE: The Lakeland VA CBOCs is seeking proposals from contractors to supply equipment that is brand name or equal. The equipment should meet or exceed the physical, functional, and performance of the listed salient characteristics in this section. The equipment feature is essential to new facility and allows us to provide the best level of care for our Veterans.
