Notice of Intent to Sole Source BPA to Bardon Inc.

NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE

This synopsis is for commercial supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 3204(a)(1),  the property or services needed by the agency are available from only one responsible source or only from a limited number of responsible sources and no other type of property or services will satisfy the needs of the agency. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals, however, all capability statements received within five (5) days after date of publication of this notice will be considered by the Government. Only written responses will be considered. All responses from responsible sources will be fully considered. As a result of analyzing responses to this "Notice of Intent," the Government shall determine whether a competitive solicitation will be issued. Any prospective contractor must be registered in the "System for Award Management" (sam.gov) in order to be eligible for award. The Govt. will not be responsible for any costs incurred by interested parties in responding to this "Notice of Intent."

The 316th Contracting Squadron, Joint Base Andrews, Maryland intends to award a sole source blanket purchase agreement to Bardon, Inc 6401 Golden Triangle DR STE 400 Greenbelt, Maryland 20770-3204.

This contract allows for the 316th Civil Engineering Squadron to purchase asphalt.

THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION OR REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL

Any offerors responding to this notice must provide evidence of capability to perform the above requirements.

The appropriate NAICS Code for this acquisition is 324121 – Asphalt Paving Mixture and Block Manufacturing, with a size standard of 500 employees.
