This notice does NOT constitute a request for proposal, request for quote, or invitation for bid.  The intent of this notice is to conduct market research and to identify potential offerors for information and planning purposes only.  No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this announcement or any follow-up information requests.

Scope Requirement:

Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command Far East (NAVFAC FE) FEAD Camp Butler is seeking for contractor(s) with the capabilities to provide Boiler and UPV inspection, testing, and certification services to ensure they are fully functional and in normal working condition. 

The Contractor shall provide all labor, management, supervision, tools, material, and equipment required to perform Facility Investment services for Boiler and Unfired Pressure Vessels (UPVs) at Marine Corps Base Camp Smedley D. Butler, Okinawa, Japan.  The work shall be performed at various locations and could vary from location to location. The following is an example of the dispersion of work at the various locations; Camp Foster, Camp Kinser,  MCAS Futenma, Camp Lester, Camp Hansen, Camp Courtney, Camp Schwab, Camp McTureous, Northern Training Area/Camp Gonsalves,  Henoko, Ie Shima Island, and Camp Fuji.

Entities responding to this Sources Sought Notice should submit the minimum information necessary for the Government to make a determination that adequate business entities exist that are capable of satisfying the Government’s requirements.  The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 561210 – Facilities Support Services
