Description

This requirement is set aside for participation by eligible participants of the Small Business Administration's Business Development Program (the 8(a) program). The requirement will provide technical support to include weather observation and forecasting for twenty-four (24) Naval Air Stations, Outlying Landing Fields, and Auxiliary Landing Fields across the United States and Cuba as required by Commander, Navy Meteorologic and Oceanographic Command (CNMOC) and Naval Information Forces (NAVIFOR) in support of aviation control. The required non-personal services include real-time briefings of weather events and conditions from pre-flight through landing to assist aviation activities in completing safe and successful operations, and will be performed through weather observation, and operation/monitoring of weather-based technology, equipment and resources by qualified and proficient contractor personnel.
