Description

This Sources Sought notice is being posted to satisfy the requirement of DFARS PGI 206.302-1. The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR), Program Office, PMA-201, Patuxent River, Maryland, intends to enter into sole source negotiations and subsequently award a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) Order on Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) with The Boeing Company for the engineering and logistics services required to support delivery of the feasibility study final report to determine weapon capability using LJDAM Fly-out Model (FOM) software. Contract Award is anticipated for third quarter fiscal year (FY) 2024.

This sources sought is published for informational purposes only. (THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS). This requirement will be procured in accordance with FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. As the sole designer and developer of the hardback, Boeing is the only source that currently possessed sufficient requisite knowledge, engineering expertise, and technical data required to perform these tasks.

IMPORTANT ADDITIONAL INFORMATION FOR INTERESTED PARTIES: This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, responsible, interested parties may identify their interest and capability by responding to this notice.  The Government will consider all information received prior to the closing date of this notice. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. There are no commitments by the Government to issue any solicitations, make an award or awards, or to be responsible for any monies expended by any interested parties before award of a contract for the efforts mentioned above. Information provided herein is subject to change and in no way binds the Government to solicit for or award a contract. No telephone responses will be accepted.
