SOW Spacelabs Xhibit Central Station provides remote centralized monitoring and alarm management for up to 16 patients. Patient information can be expanded to the full screen and alarms customized. The rational for the monitors: The Xhibit Central Station will allow nursing staff to view cardiac monitors from all areas of the nurse s station. Currently, most areas in the nurse s station have an obstructed view of the monitors. This puts patients at risk for harm due to the potential for deterioration in patient status or life-threatening events going unrecognized. The Xhibit Central Station will allow Nurses to monitor their patients in the critical care area and respond quickly to events and improve patient outcomes.
