Description

Veterans Health Administration, Network Contracting Office 5, is issuing this request for information/sources sought notice in order to identify entities that have the resources and capabilities to provide vinyl floor coverings & installation services for the Hershel Woody Williams VA Medical Center, located in Huntington, West Virginia. Description of Work The contractor will provide all resources necessary to remove the existing floor covering and then provide and install approximately 1,800 square feet of luxury vinyl tile (LVT) flooring (Shaw Terrain II Echo or equivalent) and approximately 360 linear feet of cove base trim (Roppe 6 Fig or equivalent). Technical Qualifications Contractor must be primarily in the business of providing & installing vinyl floor coverings; have 5 years experience installing vinyl floor coverings; have experience installing vinyl flooring in a healthcare facility (e.g., hospital or other similar healthcare facility) adhering to infection control/safety guidelines. Interested & Capable Responses NCO 5 is seeking responses from entities that are interested in this procurement and consider themselves to have the resources and capabilities necessary to provide these services. Please respond with your: 1. Business name, business type, socio-economic status (e.g., Veteran-Owned, Woman-Owned, Disadvantaged Small Business, 8(a), etc.), and person of contact (including telephone number & email address). 2. Capability statement and summary of previous experience providing & installing vinyl floor coverings for the Veterans Health Administration or other similar healthcare facilities. 3. Ballpark cost estimate of what the Huntington VAMC could expect to pay your company to perform the work described above. Responses must be submitted by 11:00 AM Eastern on July 10, 2023.
