Response: 1 2 per Montrose campus 1 2 per Castle Point campus Question #3: How many admissions per night? Response: 1 per Montrose 1 per Castle Point Question #4: How many patients does the daytime hospitalist round on per day? Response: Less than 10 at Castle Point Less than 7 at Montrose Question #5: Are any procedures required? If so, which ones? Response: Procedures are required in Urgent Care at both sites. They may include simple sutures, applying splints, I&D and pelvic exams. Question #6: Are any other duties are involved? i.e. covering for a Community Living Center or Urgent Care Response: Yes, covering Urgent Care when open at both campuses. Montrose UC open M-F 4pm -6pm / Saturday & Sunday open 8am -6pm Castle Point UC open M-F 4pm-8pm / Saturday & Sunday open 8am 6pm Question #7: Which shift times are needed most M-F? Response: Castle Point - 4pm-8am typically requires the most coverage. Question #8: Which shift times are needed most on the weekends? Response: VA staff Hospitalists do not typically work on weekends. Castle Point: 8am 8am and Montrose 8am 8am both require contract staff. Question #9: Does the VA require years of experience and/or other specific experience for the Hospitalists or Director position beyond the descriptions provided in the Solicitation? Response: There are no required years of experience.
