This is not a solicitation or request for quotes. This is a Request for Information (RFI) to determine market capabilities for an upcoming requirement for custom kits for MV-22 Osprey aircrafts for Marine Helicopter Squadron One (HMX-1). 

Please review the draft Item Description below.

DRAFT Item Description 

Item Name: Custom Kits for MV-22 Osprey aircraft (helicopter) 

Intended Use: This requirement is to replace current worn and unusable custom MV-22 kits required for United States Marine Corps (USMC) Marine Helicopter Squadron One (HMX-1) to accomplish their high-profile missions. Vendor must match already existing custom designed MV-22 kits to ensure uniformity. The items required would be considered phase replacement for items which have outlived their use and life expectancy.  

Required Delivery: 60 days ADC 

1. Floor Plugs Kit - Quantity: 1 
   • Made in various sizes: 5 in. diameter x 1.25 in. deep; 8 in. Diameter x 1.25 in. deep; and 3 in. x 6.5 in. 1.25 in. 25 Rectangular. Outer shell 18oz/sq yd Vinyl Coated Nylon, Top reinforcement of 0.060” HDPE, Interior Rigid Foam 2,2 lb Density PE Foam or better.
