Description

PURPOSE / INTRODUCTION

The FAA has an upcoming project for demo services at FAA's Air Route Traffic Control Center (ARTCC) located in Longmont, Colorado.

Work includes:

Demolish two 5' x 2' x 4' air compressors, 14" x 16" compressor control panel, 14.5" x 13" x 25" air dryer unit, valves, pressure regulators, oiler and dryer components, filters, and associated components for the abandoned pneumatic piping ranging from 10' to 16' AFF and approximately 160' of 3/4" black iron pipe ranging from 10' to 12' AFF.  The pneumatic system is located throughout the facility basement floor and the Power Services Building.  Wall penetrations made by the removal of pneumatic system shall be repaired to match existing building finishes.  Contractor shall fire stop penetrations made by removal of pneumatic system in order to maintain building fire integrity.

 ESTIMATED PROJECT SIZE

The estimated project size is under $100,000.

NATURE OF COMPETITION / SET ASIDE

The acquisition strategy for this procurement has not been determined at this time, however, either an unrestricted competition or a set aside will be chosen based on the results of market research performed and responses to this market survey announcement.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

1) This is not a Request for Offers (RFO) of any kind;

2) The FAA is not seeking or accepting any unsolicited proposals.

3) The FAA will not pay for any information received or costs incurred in preparing the response to this market survey; and,

4) Any costs associated with the market survey submittal is solely at the interested vendor's expense.
