Description

Designated smoke and fire doors and panic hardware shall be replaced throughout building 1 to correct broken and worn doors and to bring the doors up to code.  Building 1 is a five-story building on a basement and work will occur on all six floors.

Building 1 is pre-1950 construction; asbestos containing material and lead based paint are present in the building and must be removed and handled per OSHA guidelines if encountered.  VANIHCS-Ft Wayne shall provide most recent surveys of hazardous material.  These reports are not to be considered all encompassing.   The two reports provide more detail than is required for this project.
