Description

Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) Patuxent River, MD, intends to award a contract to Klynveld Peat Marwick Goerdeler (KPMG)) LLP, 200068350 Broad ST #900 McClean VA 22102., on an other than full and open basis for the continued development of the TACAMO Future Readiness Model to operate at the Classified SECRET level and integrate data sets available on Secret Internet Protocol Router Network (SIPRnet) to work in a Data Visualization tool or similar type application. The anticipated period of performance for this action is 12 months.


This effort builds upon an existing TACAMO readiness model. Based on historical data, future readiness initiatives, and future program production schedules the Government intends to award and a sole source contract to KPMG. The authority permitting other than full and open competition is provided in 10 U.S.C. 3204(a), Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services will Satisfy Agency Requirements.   

A request for sources sought was issued on SAM.gov on 27 March 2024 and closed 11 April 2024 with no responses. 

This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals.  However, the Government will consider all proposals received within thirty (30) days after the publication date of this synopsis. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
