Laselec Maintenance

Army Contract Command - Redstone Arsenal, Technology Development Directorate – Aviation, located in Fort Eustis, Virginia, intends to solicit and award a Firm Fixed Price purchase order on a sole source basis to Laselec, Inc. (Cage Code 3ZRR4), located at 2605 North Forum Drive, Grand Prairie, TX 75052-8925, for the procurement of support services for the current Modena Laser Wire Marker equipment, model number ULYS 110-SL.  The period of performance of the purchase order will be 1 base year and four 12 month option years. The anticipated award date is 15 August 2022.  This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes.  All responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency; however, a determination by the Government not to compete this proposed purchase order based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.  The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106(b)(1) Soliciting from a Single Source. A justification to not compete this acquisition has been properly executed and is included with this notice. The justification addresses the requirements of FAR 5.207(c)(15), reason for lack of competition.
