Description
This request for information (RFI)/Sources Sought is issued solely for information and planning purposes and does not constitute a solicitation. All responses to this RFI that are marked as proprietary will be handled accordingly. In accordance with FAR 15.201(e), responses to this notice are not offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. Responders are solely responsible for all expenses associated with responding to this RFI.
In accordance to the Executive Order 13985, titled “Advancing Racial Equity and Support for Underserved Communities Through the Federal Government,” the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) is initiating a campaign to provide outreach to diverse businesses that are interested in doing business with the Bureau. The purpose of this notice is to conduct market research to determine if there is a sufficient number of large and small non-traditional businesses (firms who do not traditionally do business with the IRS), that are capable of providing goods and services purchased by the IRS. The typical goods and services purchased by the IRS are located on the Treasury Dynamic Forecasting Tool.
In addition to large businesses, the IRS is interested in responses from a diversified group of Certified 8(a) Small Businesses, Small Disadvantaged Businesses (SDB), businesses in Historically Under-utilized Business Zones (HUBZone), Woman-Owned Small Businesses (WOSB), Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB) and/or Veteran Owned Small Businesses (VOSB), Historically Black Colleges and/or Universities (HBCU), Minority-Serving Institutions (MSI), Hispanic-Serving Institutions (HSI), Tribal Colleges/Universities (TCU), Alaskan Native Corporations (ANC), Native Hawaiian Organizations (NHO), or other businesses to warrant a socio-economic set-aside or full & open competition.
Interested parties responding to this RFI shall complete and submit the attached intake form and a link to your firm’s capability statement.
Responses are due by July 12, 2022, at 4:00 PM EST. E-MAIL INFORMATION TO: ocpo.amp.apmi.integration.and.improvement@irs.gov with the subject line Diversity RFI Response. Responses will only be accepted electronically in Adobe pdf or MS Office formats. Paper media (hardcopy) will not be accepted. NO ADDITIONAL INFORMATION IS AVAILABLE OTHER THAN WHAT IS NOTED HEREIN.
