Your response to the information requested will assist the U.S. Department of Interior (DOI), Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA), Division of Transportation in planning the appropriate acquisition strategy.
The purpose of this Sources Sought Notice is to obtain information, for planning purposes, regarding the availability and capability of potential Small Business entities that can provide the required services described. Bridge Construction SFIR 3(1), the NAICS code for this planned acquisition is 237310 ¿ Highway, Street, and Bridge Construction with a $39.5 M size standard.
All responses must be submitted in an electronic format via e-mail to Melanie.Schiaveto@bia.gov on or before July 28, 2022. The BIA will not accept responses after the due date. The BIA will not accept phone calls regarding this notice.
Project SFIR 3(1), INDIAN BEND BRIDGE - CONSTRUCTION SERVICES - SOUTH FORK BAND OF THE TE-MOAK TRIBE: Acquire labor, equipment, materials and services to remove and dispose existing debris from former bridge, grade, drain and place aggregate surface course on 0.26 miles of roadway and construct a new bridge on Route 3 on the South Fork Indian Reservation, Elko County, Nevada. Technical specifications are to be Standard Specifications for Construction of Roads and Bridges on Federal Highway Projects, FP-14 with modification in the Special Contract Requirements. The Contractor shall provide all labor and supervision, materials, and equipment required to complete the requirement.
Contractor registration in the Government¿s System for Award Management (SAM) is required in order to be eligible for the contract award. Registration may be completed and information regarding the registration process may be obtained at http://www.sam.gov.
This notice is not to be construed as a commitment by the BIA to award a contract. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with your submittal. The BIA will not return any information submitted in response to this notice. Information received will be used in BIA¿s market research effort and for procurement planning purposes. The Government reserves the right to contact, or not to contact, any party responding to this notice in order to obtain further information for market research purposes. Respondents are advised that BIA is under no obligation to provide feedback to respondents with respect to any information submitted.
