Description of Benefits
The Human Performance Optimization (HPO) Multiple Award Indefinite-Delivery Indefinite-Quantity (MA-IDIQ) provides the agility and capacity to improve performance and extend longevity of the “human weapon system,” thereby increasing the operational readiness and effectiveness of Aircrew and SPECWAR. The HPO program improves cognitive performance, strengthens emotional resiliency, and increases physical capacity and durability. Cognitive performance addresses learning speed, recall, problem-solving, and critical thinking. Emotional resiliency addresses stress management, mindfulness, and awareness. Physical capacity and durability focus on the physical demands of tactical athletes, thereby elevating on-the-job performance while reducing injury incident rates and medical profile durations.
