THIS IS A PRESOLICIATION NOTICE AN INVITATION FOR BID WILL BE POSTED ON OR ABOUT JULY 5, 2022. Replace Water Softeners at the Audie L. Murphy VA Medical Center San Antonio, Texas 36C25722B0024 The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) intends to replace its Water Softener System at the South Texas Veterans Health Care Facility, Audie L. Murphy VA Medical Center Site, located at 7400 Merton Minter Boulevard, San Antonio, Texas 78229-4404. This project is designed to replace four (4) existing water softeners, one (1) brine day tank, one (1) outside brine storage tank, and make structural repairs to the water softener room at Audie L. Murphy VA Medical Center. The contractor shall be responsible for all phases of the project and each phase shall be subject to VA approval at designated project milestones. This project includes (but not limited to) all labor, materials, supplies, equipment, services, training (if required), all power requirements, communications, security, operation and maintenance manuals, as built drawings, permits, construction, installation and commissioning. The NAICS code for this procurement is 236220 with a small business size standard of $39.5 M. The magnitude of this project is between $2,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. This project will be 100% set-aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses, as stated below. The POC for this project will be Michael Walls. Important Notice: Apparent successful offerors must apply for and receive verification from the Department of Veterans Affairs Center for Verification and Evaluation (CVE) in accordance with 38 CFR Part 74 and VAAR 819.70 by submission of documentation of Veteran status, ownership and control sufficient to establish appropriate status, offerors must be both VISIBLE and VERIFIED by the Department of Veteran Affairs Center for Veterans Enterprises prior to submission of offer.  Failure to be both VERIFIED by CVE and VISIBLE on VetBiz prior to submission of offer will result in the offeror s proposal being deemed non-responsive.
