Description

 

This synopsis is a pre-solicitation notice and is not a Request for Proposal (RFP).

The Department of Homeland Security(DHS) Customs and Border Protection (CBP), Office of Internal Affairs (IA) intends to issue a solicitation requesting proposals for polygraph testing services. A detailed statement of work will be included in the Request for Proposal (RFP)/ solicitation. CBP intends to conduct this procurement in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR Part 15, Contracting by Negotiation.  This procurement is anticipated to be a Total Small Business set aside.

It is anticipated that CBP will award multiple fixed price/time and material hybrid, indefinite delivery indefinite quantity contracts. The contract's period of performance will consist of one base period and up to four one year option periods. The anticipated release date of the RFP will be available in late March 2014.

 

The RFP/solicitation will be issued via Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps) website at http://www.fbo.gov. A hard copy solicitation will not be issued. Potential offerors are hereby notified that the solicitation and subsequent amendments to the RFP/solicitation will only be available on the FedBizOpps website. Prospective offerors are responsible for monitoring FedBizOpps for the release of the solicitation and any amendments that follow. Additionally, offerors are responsible for downloading the RFP/solicitation and all attachments when posted.
