Description

The purpose of Amendment 0004 is to: Provide responses to industry questions received and update applicable attachments. The proposal due date remains the same at 05 June 2024 1PM EST. The purpose of Amendment 0002 is to: Provide responses to industry questions received, update SOW, Section L and applicable attachments. The proposal due date remains the same at 05 June 2024 1PM EST. The purpose of Amendment 0001 is to: Extend RFP submittal date from 27 May 2024 to 05 June 2024 1PM EST. Additional Amendment 0001 Conformed Copy attached to reflect Block #9. Additionally, provide responses to industry questions received, update Section L and applicable attachments. Updated Attachment 3 and Attachment 5 attached. Solicitation for Alteration Installation Team (AIT). NOTE: Please ensure all e-mail correspondence (questions, notifications, etc.) are sent to Lead Contract Specialist Kate Haynes at kathryn.s.haynes2.civ@us.navy.mil and Procurement Contracting Officer Xenia Lira at caroline.x.lira.civ@us.navy.mil. This contract is for the acquisition of modernization services/installation in support of the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Carderock Division (NSWCCD) mission. This is a multi-disciplinary contract that requires the following support; program management, planning, logistics/material procurement, prototyping, incidental repair, and alteration installation with advanced knowledge in the following industrial support areas; hull/structural, mechanical, electrical and electronic systems. AIT is defined herein as a group of contractor personnel that accomplish installation of modernization packages to a wide variety of Navy Boats and Combatant Craft. This requirement includes the purchase and/or fabrication, storage, kitting, transportation of material and installation of modernization packages. Government direction under this requirement includes information in the form of Boat Alterations (BOAT ALT?s) and Liaison Action Reports (LAR?s) which detail the modernization efforts to be accomplished. The contractor shall install modernization packages primarily at military and occasionally at commercial locations both Inside and Outside the Continental United States (CONUS/OCONUS). The exact location of execution will be provided at the Delivery Order (DO) level.
