Description

PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE: The Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Southeast Louisiana Veterans Health Care System (SLVHCS) in New Orleans, LA has a requirement for various Agency Nursing Services to eligible beneficiaries. The Contractor shall provide Registered Nurses, RN Med/Surg (Estimated 35 Nurses), RN Specialty and Extended Care (CLC) (Estimated 15 Nurses), Licensed Practical Nurses (Estimated 5 Nurses), and Certified Nursing Assistants (Estimated 15 Nurses), especially weekend, holiday, evening, and night hours. This requirement period of performance is estimated to include a Base Year and four additional ordering periods for a total of 5 years. The Place of Performance: Contractor shall furnish services at Southeast Louisiana Veterans Health Care System (SLVHCS) at 2400 Canal St., New Orleans, LA 70119. This requirement has a need date of 1 December 2021. The period of performance is estimated to run from 1 December 2021 through 30 November 2026. Contractor s personnel shall be subject to the quality assurance standards established by the Joint Commission and shall perform in accordance with ethical, professional and technical standards of the healthcare industry consistent with VA policy, regulations, procedures and protocol. This acquisition is being procured as a 100% Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses set aside posted on beta.SAM, applicable NAICS code 621399 Offices of All Other Miscellaneous Health Practitioners, size standard $8M, PSC Code Q401. Solicitation to be available on or about 15 September 2021 with proposals due approximately 30 days from the issue date, 4:00 pm central time. All questions FOLLOWING issuance of solicitation to be submitted via email within Ten (10) calendar days after issuance to thomas.kovarovic@va.gov, using 36C25621R0176 NOLA Agency Nurses in the subject line (no telephone requests will be responded to). Answers to questions will be provided via solicitation amendment.
