Description

This is a SOLICITATION NOTICE for the upcoming Solicitation 75H701-25-R-00016 BLACKFEET HOSPITAL CT ROOM RENOVATION a construction project prepared in accordance with FAR Part 36. These construction services are in support of the Indian Health Service (IHS).

SCOPE OF WORK: This acquisition is for the construction to renovate the existing computerized tomography (CT) scan room and family room. The Service Unit (SU) plans to purchase a new 128 slice CT scan unit to replace the existing unit. The existing room is not adequate in size and infrastructure to support the new CT scan unit. The renovation will create an adequate space for the new CT to be installed in accordance with 2018 FGI Guidelines and manufacturer recommendations. The project will include creating a CT room of adequate size with sufficient HVAC and electrical capacity to safely operate the equipment and serve patients. The project will also include an upgrade to the existing security room.

LOCATION OF PROJECT: All work shall be performed at the Blackfeet Hospital, 760 Blackweasel Rd, Browning, MT 59417

PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE: Period of Performance is 180 calendar days from date of notice of proceed.

CONSTRUCTION MAGNITUDE: The magnitude of this construction project is anticipated to be between $500,000 and $1,000,000, in accordance with FAR 36.204(f).

SITE VISIT: February 11TH 2025 @ 1:00PM MST. See L.7 for further instructions.

CONTRACT TYPE: IHS intends to award a single Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract in support of this requirement.

This solicitation will be procured as a Request for Proposal (RFP) in accordance with FAR Part 36 procedures with Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) evaluation criteria.

This project will be solicited as 100% set aside for Indian Small Business Economic Enterprise (ISBEE) pursuant to the Buy Indian Act under North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 236220, Commercial and Institutional Building Construction. The associated size standard for this procurement is $45 million. For information concerning NAICS and SBA size standards, go to http://www.sba.gov.
