Description
STATEMENT OF NEED
GENERAL: James A. Haley Veterans Hospital (JAHVH) Mental Health and Domiciliary has executed a new lease/build that will consolidate and expand the mental health and domiciliary clinic, 8541 Temple Terrace Highway, Tampa, Florida 33637, has a requirement for portable ultrasound. The portable ultrasound machine will be used for patients during examination.
BACKGROUND: The JAHVH Tampa Mental Health and Domiciliary Clinic has a requirement for portable ultrasound.
PURPOSE: The portable ultrasound machines can be used to diagnose pain, swelling, and infection inside the body, to guide biopsies, to examine the heart, ability to do cardiac, lung and abdominal imaging. This portable ultrasound helps in improving patient care for the Tampa Mental Health and Domiciliary clinic.
