Description
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Huntsville Engineering and Support Center (CEHNC) is procuring a Utility Energy Service Contract (UESC) for Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Washington (JBLM) ? hereby referred to as UESC JBLM. The UESC JBLM requirement will provide comprehensive energy and water efficiency improvements and demand reduction services. The predominance of the work is services but wage rates for any construction efforts will be inputted into the contract. UESC projects can encompass a broad range of energy conservation measures (ECMs), including system upgrades and re-commissioning, deep retrofit projects, renewable energy, cogeneration plants and microgrids. UESC gives federal customers the flexibility to tailor a project to a customer?s energy needs and financing strategies.
