Description
THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY. This announcement is seeking interested sources and will be used for preliminary planning purposes. No proposals are being requested or accepted with this synopsis. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION FOR PROPOSALS AND NO CONTRACT SHALL BE AWARDED FROM THIS SYNOPSIS. The purpose of this notice is to advise industry of the Government's intent, upon approval, to solicit and award a sole source contract to Stichting Maritiem Research lnstituut Nederland {MARIN), for access to the software design tools of two (2) study groups: Cooperative Research Navies {CRNAV) Dynamic Stability Joint Industry Government Project and Cooperative Research Ships {CRS) Joint Industry Government Project Studies as outlined in the draft Statement of Work. It is the Government's belief that this is available only from MARIN. Sources that can provide the required services are afforded the opportunity to submit their capabilities for consideration. Responses to this notice must include detailed documentation verifying the required services have been provided to the Government including contract number, description, performance dates, and points of contact. Responses must be submitted within fifteen (15) calendar days from the date this notice is posted. Concerns that respond to this notice must fully demonstrate a bona fide capability to meet the requirements. Inquiries/information received after the established deadline shall NOT be considered for this acquisition. The submission of this data for review shall not impede the award of this contract. The Government does NOT intend to pay for information solicited. This synopsis is issued pursuant to FAR 6.302-1 and HSAM 3006.302-1. All information received in response to this is marked as proprietary will be handled accordingly. The Government is not requesting proposals, nor will any be accepted. Responders are solely responsible for all expenses associated with responding to this notice. The Government will not pay any costs for responses submitted.
