Notice of Intent to Sole Source CORE EOD Kit

THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTE – THIS IS A NOTICE OF THE GOVERNMENT’S INTENT TO ISSUE A SOLE SOURCE AWARD TO TACTICAL ELECTRONICS AND MILITARY SUPPLY, LLC FOR A CORE EOD KIT

The Department of Defense (DoD), Washington Headquarters Services, Acquisition Directorate, (WHS/AD) intends to award a sole source, firm-fixed price contract to Tactical Electronics and Military Supply, LLC, 2200 N. Hemlock Ave, Broken Arrow, Oklahoma 74012 (UEI: UDTSC2LGK7D1, CAGE: 1QCD0).

In order to meet the Government’s mission, the Pentagon Force Protection Agency (PFPA) Intelligence Division (ID), the Requiring Activity, has the mission to continually provide technical security support to the Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD) for the protection of classified information used in daily operations at the Pentagon. In the search for and detection of clandestine audio, video, or data exploitation or exfiltration devices, the Counterintelligence Branch needs the brand-name CORE EOD Kit, a camera surveillance kit, to maximize their physical search capability in classified processing areas in order to protect national security information from adversarial interception and exploitation. The Contracting Officer has determined that Tactical Electronics and Military Supply, LLC has the capability to not only meet all salient requirements for CORE EOD Kit, but they are the sole manufacturer of the CORE EOD Kit, which is comprised of the following items:

CORE Grip x 1

CORE Pole Grip – 17ft x 1

CORE Articulating Scope (IR) x 1

CORE Flex Camera – 18in (IR) x 1

CORE UDC – 2 Camera x 1

CORE Pole Camera x 1

CORE Monitor X 2

Accessories x 1

Large CORE Case x 1

Tactical Electronics and Military Supply, LLC is the only vendor that can satisfy the requirement; therefore, only one source will be solicited.

This procurement will be issued in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 13.5 under the authority of 41 U.S.C. 1901, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The NAICS code utilized for this procurement is 334511, Search, Detection, Navigation, Guidance, Aeronautical, and Nautical System and Instrument Manufacturing.  Small Business Size Standard of 1,250 Employees.  This is a commercial item.  The estimated amount for this procurement is under the Simplified Acquisition Threshold with a 30 Days After Award delivery date.

This notice of intent is NOT a request for proposals or quotations. Requests for copies of a solicitation in response to this notice will not be honored or acknowledged.
