Description
Grand Teton National Park - Park-Wide Fencing
The National Park Service (NPS) is conducting a market survey to determine the interest and capability of vendors for a possible upcoming project. All costs associated with providing information in response to this market survey shall be the responsibility of the firm. Any information submitted is voluntary. The Contracting Officer will make an acquisition strategy decision based on the results of this market survey and a future solicitation may be issued as unrestricted without further consideration.
This is not an invitation for bid (IFB) or request for proposal (RFP) and does not constitute any commitment by the Government to issue any solicitation. All interested firms must respond to future solicitation announcements separately from responses to this market survey. Any solicitation that may be issued will be posted on sam.gov.
Project Description: The Department of Interior, National Park Service, Grand Teton is seeking firms or organization to provide fencing construction services within Grand Teton National Park and the John D. Rockefeller Jr. Memorial Parkway. Grand Teton is seeking contractors to inventory, repair, replace, and install new fences throughout. The Park uses post and rail of a variety of styles. These are used to prevent or deter vehicle or pedestrian movement, and to control movement of wildlife, horses, and cattle. The post and rail may be augmented by barbed/non-barbed wire or electric wire. The Park also uses post and rail fence with slats as screening fence in residential or administrative areas. In some locations, the fence is part of a cultural resource for the park, and so the materials, style and dimensions of the fence should be matched to the historic condition.
The total anticipated contract period, to include options, shall not exceed five (5) calendar years.
The anticipated total of individual task orders placed against this contract shall not exceed $1,500,000.00.
