Description
The USDA-FS, El Yunque NF requires to perform water sample collection and provide laboratory test results for the Water System (PWS-ID 661056 and PWS-ID PR 661056), as required by the PR Health Department and in compliance with all Federal and State regulations for potable water systems. In addition, perform monthly bacteriological water sample collection at a non-public water system for a Fish and Wildlife Service (FWS) Aviary facility located in the El Yunque National Forest.

Deliverables / Schedule
The contractor must perform water sample collection and provide laboratory tests results for the El Yunque NF
Water System (PWS-ID 661056 and PWS-ID PR 661066) and the Aviary facility.
1- Bacteriology results will be reported to the Forest Service within the first 10 days following the month in which they were taken.
2- Chemical results will be reported during the first 10 days following the month in which they were taken and/or on the first 10 days of the final testing period (whichever comes first).
3- Copper and Lead results will be reported during the first 10 days following the month in which they were taken and/or on the first 10 days of the final testing period (whichever comes first). See Appendix D of SOW.
Contractor’s Key Personnel
The person collecting the samples and the testing laboratory must have and maintain the required certifications from the Office of Certifications of the Puerto Rico Health Department. The Contractor shall provide services as described in the Scope of Work, the Schedule of Items, and in accordance with the Contract Clauses and any attachments. All samples shall be taken within El Yunque National Forest at the sampling points (puntos de muestreo) agreed with the PR Department of Health. The sampling points have already been identified. See Appendix C of SOW.
