DANTES Administrator: Provide Testing Services to Tyndall AFB, FL.

Qustions and Answers:  

1.  Can this Contract be Sub-Contracted?  Per, SOW Para 3.1.5  It says Contractor cannot sub-contract testing services.

    Answer :This contract can be Sub-Contracted.  "Para 3.1.5 Contractor cannot sub-contract testing services" has been deleted  from SOW.

2.  Can Govt. provide incumbent details (Contractor Name, Contract Value and Contractor Number)?

     Answer:  FA481919PA007

3.  What is the proposal validity?

    Answer:  See SAM.GOV solicitation FBO General Information section.

4.  Referring to the Attachment 3, “Pricing Section” Can Govt confirm are these the expected number of hours for each CLIN 125? 

    Answer: Yes, confirmed

5.  Whether the Key Personnel are permissible to work remotely?

     Answer:  No, must be on site

6.  Based on the level of effort can the government confirm how many FTEs/Key Personnel are exactly required?

     Answer: One person, one day a week

7.  Do we need to provide resumes for DANTES Administrator?

     Answer: Yes.

8.  Referring to the SOW, Section 3.0 General requirements. The individual performing the work must have a bachelor’s degree from an accredited United States of America institution. “Confirmation of degree completion will be provided to the ETSC before award”. Do we need to submit the proof of the response?

     Answer:   Yes, submit official transcript The individual performing the work must have a bachelor’s degree from an accredited United States institution. Confirmation of degree completion will be provided to the ETSC before award. Contractor must have two (2) years of verifiable test specialist/test examiner experience.

9.  Based on the roles and responsibilities can the govt. clarify the exact roles and responsibilities of the DANTES Administrator?

     Answer:  Test Examiner will provide services of test examination for the following programs: Force Professional Military Education (PME) testing programs, Career Development Course (CDC) testing, Air University (AU) testing programs, Air Education and Training Command (AETC) exams, Defense Language Proficiency Test (DLPT),specialty or certification exams and any test required by the Air Force, if not administered, through the local military test control officer. Knowledge of computer-based testing for military and civilian programs, network infrastructure concepts and troubleshooting techniques for Ethernet local area network (LAN), intranet and internet connectivity.

10.  Is this is a follow-on requirement or a new contract? If it is a follow on contract, could you please provide the incumbent contract number and the awarded price? 

       Answer:  Follow-on, FA481919PA007.

11.  How many people are currently working under this contract?

       Answer:  One person

12. Please confirm if this requirement is a full-time or part-time position? 

      Answer:  Part-time, about 1 day a week.

13.  PWS paragraph 4.1. TRAINING, it states:

DoD/AF training may be required to fulfill contract obligations. AF will pay contractor’s training fees and attendance time if, as result of the training, it enhances the performance provided by the contractor and it benefits the Government. This training must be coordinated through the Contracting Officer prior to the start of the training.

  • Please confirm where will be the location of this training? Is it on site training or overseas training? If overseas training, who will cover the cost(s)?  
  • How many days the training will be?  
  • How many training in a year? 

       Answer:  Travel for training is not expected, online/desktop available.  Training will be online. Training will be 4-16 hrs a year.
