Description
The contractor is to provide additional category ground and flight training to fixed-wing commercial pilot or ATP rated FAA inspectors in order that they may obtain a LTA Balloon rating on their pilot certificate. Additionally, the contractor will provide recurrent training for balloon rated inspectors. The recurrent training must include a flight review in accordance with 14 CFR 61.56. All training is to be conducted to commercial pilot standards in Hot Air Balloons.

The responses to this market survey will be used for informational purposes only. This is not a screening information request or request for proposal of any kind. The FAA is not seeking or accepting proposals at this time.
The FAA will not pay for any information received or cost incurred in preparing the response to the market survey. Therefore, any cost associated with the market survey submission is solely at the interested vendor's expense.
This market survey is also being conducted in order to obtain the information necessary to determinate whether adequate competition exists to set aside the competition among small businesses. Interested firms are required to submit a copy of the SBA 8(a) certification letter, if applicable.
In order to make this determination the FAA requires the following from interested vendors:
1. Capability Statement- This document should identify: Type of services provided by your organization, size and type of services provided to previous contracts, relevant and similar contracts (please provide detailed information and past performance), number of years in business.
