The system is designed to help electrophysiologists navigate the heart by generating an accurate 3D map, as well as pinpointing the exact location and orientation of catheters in the heart during diagnostic and therapeutic procedures for patients suffering from heart rhythm conditions (cardiac arrhythmias). The system should act very much like an advanced navigation system in a car that guides the driver with visual and audio cues to ensure safe parking and operation of the vehicle. Potential sources must demonstrate the capability to provide the required equipment.  Potential sources should submit: Point of Contact with email address and phone number; Business name and address; Business size pursuant to NAICS code 334510, (size standard 1,250 employees), the non-manufacture rule applies to this NAICS and there is a waiver; Applicable business socio-economic category; GSA, NAC, TAC, or SAC contract number if applicable; Capability statement and/or brochures of the equipment to allow for assessment of meeting the requirements stated above; SAM UEI number; Delivery days After Receipt of Order (ARO); What country made the product is made in; and Whether or not your company is the OEM or a distributor.  If a distributor, indicate who the OEM is and provide authorized distributor letter. Letter from Olympus America, Inc. stating compatibility. Vendors are hereby notified that if a competitive solicitation is issued on the Beta SAM website http:// https://sam.gov at a later date, all interested parties must respond to that Solicitation announcement separately from any response to this SS announcement. This SS does not restrict the Government's acquisition approach on a future Solicitation. No faxes, courier delivered, or telephone inquiries/submissions will be accepted. Responses should be submitted to Rachelle J. Hamer, Contracting Officer at rachelle.hamer@va.gov, by Friday, March 22, 2024, by 5PM ET.  Enter RFI 36C25024Q0440| EP Mapping System in the email subject line.
