Description

The United States Air Force (USAF) is seeking construction material providers who are capable of providing Aggregate Base Course (ABC) on the island of Tinian. Prospective contractors must have the capacity to provide, at a minimum, 60K tons per delivery and must be able to deliver within 2 weeks of order placement. Additionally, the USAF intends to maximize hiring practices for the local populace of Tinian, meaning that any contract related to this notice will include requirements for hiring practices on the island of Tinian. Prospective contractors shall submit a statement of intent to the Contracting Officer that includes:

1. The estimated capacity for production that your company posseses.

2. The means of transportation of the ABC to the island of Tinian, or, if production of the ABC will be made locally, how the contractor intends to use local production, or a combination of both if the contractor intends to utilize both local and off island production. In any case, the contractor shall also include an estmated delivery time from the notice of an order placement.

3. Which types of labor the contractor can realistically seek local hires to perform.

4. Your company's CAGE and SAM UEI.

5. Up to three (3) previous efforts that your company performed ABC production. If your company has performed ABC production for the US Government, those contracts are prefered; otherwise, prospective contractors may also include ABC contracts with non-goverment customers. Each previous shall be limited to one (1) page, and shall include the contract number, the location of the deliveries, the value of the contract, the period over which the contract was performed, and the estimated final total of ABC that was delivered. Contracts that were performed in the Pacific for non-contiguous United States locations are the most perferred.
