MetaVR Simulation Maintenance

THIS IS A SOLE SOURCE SYNOPSIS in accordance with  FAR 5.207(c)(15).  In accordance with FAR 6.302-1 determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive Quotes. However, all interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement. Written responses to this synopsis shall contain sufficient documentation to establish a bonafide capability to fulfill the requirement. ACC-RSA will not be responsible for any costs incurred by interested parties in responding to this notice. The Combat Capabilities Development Command (DEVCOM) Aviation and Missile Center (AvMC), Redstone Arsenal, Alabama, has a sole source requirement for a MetaVR Software Maintenance for the Software, Simulation, Systems Engineering & Integration (S3I) Directorate. This is a Sole Source with MVRsimulation Inc. in accordance with FAR 6.302-1). Structural Design and Analysis, Inc. is the only source capable of fulfilling the Government's requirement of the MetaVR Software Maintenance.  MVRSimulation Virtual Reality Scene Generator(VRSG) is a Microsoft DirectX-based render engine that provides geospecific simulation as an image generator (IG) with game quality graphics. MVRSimulation VRSG supports the typical features required for image generators used in flight, ground vehicle, and infantry training simulators, and many other military simulation applications.MVRSimulation, Inc, VRSG v7.0 Software Maintenance is the only known availablesoftware that is compatible with the whole world terrain database that is used with theANVSIL flight simulators. MVRsimulation is the sole developer of the VRSG v7.0Software and is the only seller for the renewal of the AVNSIL software licenses that areused at multiple locations.. This item utilizes North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code of 513210.

IAW FAR 5.207(c)(16)(ii) All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency.

This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes; however, the Government will consider any responses from capable sources received within 7 days after date of publication of this synopsis. Phone calls will not be accepted.
