Title – Commercial Underwater Breathing Apparatus (UBA) Market Survey

Purpose

The Naval Surface Warfare Center Panama City Division (NSWCPCD) is performing a market survey seeking information on a commercially available Underwater Breathing Apparatuses (UBA) with the following minimum characteristics/capabilities discussed in the UBA Description Attachment. Please respond if you meet the following, or if you meet 90% of the following presented in the attached UBA Description document.

Responses

Responses to this RFI should include supporting materials that provide a demonstration of your company’s capabilities and experience. For costs, please provide any applicable quantity discounts. The following information is requested (indicate if the information is an estimate or actual). Respond with the following documentation:

1. Technical literature with complete description and specifications illustrating the ability of the apparatus to meet the above characteristics in this request for information.

2. Current ability to meet a production rate of 500 units per year for 5 years, then parts and technical support for an additional 25 years.

3. Estimated unit cost for quantities of 5, 250, and 500.

4. Estimated quantity of units currently fielded.

5. Estimated preventative maintenance costs for 1 and 2 year periods to include replacement parts, o-rings, seals, etc. for 100, 250, and 2000 units.

All information shall be provided free of charge to the Government.
